I’m back (…and married!)

I’m sorry for the silent treatment, guys. It’s not you, it’s me.

Since you last heard from me, life has been predictably unpredictable, filled with so many ups and downs. I started a new job, went exploring overseas, supported loved ones through health issues, addressed some of my own, welcomed the sweetest little puppy into our home… AND, I got to marry the coolest guy (yes, the one who likes to game).

But even during my absence, I have been overwhelmed by the constant stream of support and love you guys have continued to send my way. Many of you have continued to visit the blog, gotten in touch to see when I’d be back or sent me emails sharing your own relationship stories as a gamer or partner of a gamer.

When I first started the blog, it was all really for my own amusement and, in a way, it was also how I reminded myself to be patient and understanding regarding my then-boyfriend’s gaming habits. I never imagined that anyone else would want to read it, let alone take anything valuable away from it all. So each time I hear that one of you have connected with a post I have written or used one of my tips to better your own relationship, it’s incredibly touching. And it also makes it more apparent that there needs to be more support networks out there for Partners of Gamers!

Anywho, I’m excited to be back blogging and I look forward to sharing more tips and stories with you all once again. Hope you all like the site’s new look and I hope you’ll enjoy the other new stuff I have planned for the near future. Again, thank you to all of you for all the support – you guys are amazing.

Much love <3

Vicki, a.k.a. the WIFE of a gamer ;)
