Now, I don’t mean to open Pandara’s box here, but since I don’t actually play the games myself, a launch of a new game or new expansion generally means a new excuse for whole lot of puns. While some people simply horde all the witty jokes, like the food in a chipmonk‘s cheeks, I like to let them all out. So please, just bear with me for just a moment longer.
Some people don’t like my jokes. Many would even call it a blatant act of pandalism. Well, to those people, I declare war – craft some of your own clever puns and you’ll be WoW-ed by the amount of skill that goes into it.
Mists of Pandaria is about to launch. And as far as my prior experiences of my partner and game launch days can tell me, this will mean pandamonium in our household for at least a week. Conversations about my day will be dwarfed by comments about his fancy new game. A rogueish fuzz will appear on his face when he can’t find the time to groom himself. There will be late nights off extended gaming sessions (aka “Death Nights”) and I’ll just about need to pander to his every need while he gets his fill of MoP. If you gamers out there are planning on doing that too, I say shame, shaman you.
It’s not all bad though. Once the novelty of the new game has worn off, that’s the healing stage for me. That’s when it starts to get really orcsome. It’s my chance to guild-trip him for spending so much time gaming. Let him catch up on his share of the housework and spend hours watching my favourite trashy tv shows. Last time this happened, I druid out for as long as I could. It was great. And I plan to do it again.
Enjoy the pandas, guys. GL HF :)
p.s. Please do share any Mists of Pandaria puns you may have!
